Custom Prescriptions of Lancaster is a highly specialized pharmacy located right in Lancaster City. We create every medication in house from scratch thanks to our skilled and knowledgeable team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. 

Founded in 2007 by Dr. Diane Boomsma, Custom Prescriptions of Lancaster has been serving the Lancaster area community by providing custom medication via prescription for patients and pets, hormone therapy, over the counter herbal supplements, immune support, and more.

Your Lancaster Pharmacists

Dr. Diane Boomsma

Diane is a 1982 graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy and a 2004 Doctor of pharmacy graduate of the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University.

She is a full Fellow in the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP), as well as Past President of the Academy. Diane also served on the IACP Foundation’s research committee.

Recognition:

• Winner of The Evelyn Timmons Advocacy Award 2012
• Received the Pharmacist of the Month award from the Professional Compounding Centers of America. (PCCA)
• Named PCCA Pharmacist of the Year 2008
• Named PPA Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award in 2008
• She has lectured internationally, nationally and locally on topics relating to women’s health, pain management and pharmacy compounding.

Dr. Alex Ling

Alex is a 2021 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Joining Custom Prescriptions of Lancaster immediately after graduating, he is invaluable to the team and learning the art of compounding from Dr. Diane Boomsma. 

Alex represents the next generation of pharmacists and its bright future.
